Temporary file storage, so you don't have to waste disk space, or if you just want to upload something anonymously but have it deleted after a while. Pretty neat huh?

LitterBox By Glowi.es is the temporary-upload version of Glowi.es. Files are uploaded with full end-to-end encryption and automatically deleted after their selected expiration time.

Choose from:

• 1 Hour
• 12 Hours
• 1 Day
• 3 Days

After that, files auto-expire and are permanently deleted from the system.

LitterBox supports temporary uploads up to 1 GB.

The following file types are currently not allowed: .exe, .scr, .cpl, .doc*, .jar

Do not upload: Child pornography, viruses/malware, entire episodes of anime, or full length episodes of TV shows, or heavy gore. I will purge your uploads if anything you upload violates these rules. See our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service for more info.

You cannot use LitterBox for commercial services without prior approval. Examples include as a CDN, image host for your business/ecommerce site, or a source for videos that are streamed on sites other than files.glowi.es directly.

Just like Glowi.es, LitterBox encrypts files client-side before upload, meaning we cannot see the file contents at any stage.

You can upload by:

• Selecting files
• Drag-and-dropping files
• (Optional) Using the upload tool with supported clients

After uploading, you receive a temporary link such as: https://glowi.es/litter/###### (###### = random 6 or 16 character name based on your selection)

Yes. LitterBox lets you pick:

• 6 characters
• 16 characters

This affects only the URL slug length.

Temporary files are automatically deleted at the end of the chosen period. Early deletion may be available from your dashboard if logged in.

Yes. No accounts are required. Uploads are E2EE and temporary.

Common issues:

• File larger than 1 GB
• Forbidden file type
• Network instability
• Source URL failing to respond
• Browser encryptor failing mid-upload

Retry or use a smaller file.

Your IP address is stored with your uploads. You shouldn't think it's private information anyways.
